Meet the Thetford Forest Team

Mark Robinson The Thetford Forest Tribe

Mark Robinson

Been Go Apeing since 2005 and running Thetford since the start of 2006, so a bit of an old hand now. When I'm not working I'm still climbing, be it trees, rocks or buildings, I am only happy when I'm swinging.

Tom Chichon The Thetford Forest Tribe

Tom Chichon

Started working outdoors straight after college back in 2005 and was head hunted by Go Ape in 2006. I became Deputy Manager at Thetford in 2007 and I still enjoy the work very much. That and finding new ways to wind up Mark! Out of work I love going to see live music and can usually be found in a back street bar listening to someone you've probably never heard of!

Stuart Wall The Thetford Forest Tribe

Stuart Wall

Undoubtedly the most handsome and charismatic instructor, and a customers favourite. Voted by management as instructor of the season. A true superhero.

Niki Cook The Thetford Forest Tribe

Niki Cook

The smallest instructor ever! When I'm not in the trees I'm usually spinning fire down the beach, funnily enough I'm not allowed to spin fire at work!

Tomo Christman The Thetford Forest Tribe

Tomo Christman

If you can't tell by the pic, people normally mistake me for Brad Pitt. I'm 23, I love the outdoors, the trees and living life to the full.

Paul Brown The Thetford Forest Tribe

Paul Brown

I'm a tree surgeon and love climbing and swinging through the trees hence why I'm called "Monkey Boy Brown." I think life is for living and not for worrying, always challenge yourself and keep smiling. One life! I found out about Go Ape and thought it would be right up my tree, first season and loving it! Hopefully many more to come...

Jo Anne Blowers The Thetford Forest Tribe

Jo Anne Blowers

5 seasons at Thetford and still smiling! Still enjoying the job and expecting to get my long service award very soon. Hung up my harness one winter and spent time working at the Hargrave office to see how the other half of the company lives, but couldn't resist the lure of the trees back at Thetford. When I'm delivering the "wow" factor I'm working as a Cardiographer - just a bit different from Go Ape.

Laura Whitehouse The Thetford Forest Tribe

Laura (Dora) Whitehouse

This is my second season at Thetford Go Ape and I'm still loving every minute of it! Although I'm the youngest of the Thetford apes I'm a bit of an old lady at heart - always nagging! When I'm not working hard I'm enjoying the Norfolk countryside either by foot, horse or boat.

Simon Evans The Thetford Forest Tribe

Simon Evans

Also known as the "Silverback" and "Bird Man" of High Lodge. I am the longest serving member of staff in the company, been working at Thetford since the start back in 2002 and I've still got the buzz. The kick for me is seeing and hearing the sense of achievement when people challenge themselves. I also work as a fire fighter for the MOD on one of the local airbases, and study the local bird life.

Philip J Wright The Thetford Forest Tribe

Philip J Wright

Go Ape Thetford's fearless search and rescue dog. No matter what the emergency I am ready to act. I am basically the dog version of Rambo. When not at work I can be found digging at archaeological sites around the world, searching for the elusive Purple Star.

Paulo Meireles The Thetford Forest Tribe

Paulo Meireles

Hello, my name is Paulo "Chico" Meireles. You may recognise me from such films as "The Killer Jalapeno" and "The Killer Jalapeno 2 - Domingo's Revenge." Or from the corporate leaflet, I'm the one at the back. After so much success I decided to join the Go Ape tribe and been here since 2007. When I'm not working I tend to my herd of Donkey's which I keep at a secret location, safe from poachers.

Amanda Nichol The Thetford Forest Tribe

Amanda Nichol

I've been an instructor at Go Ape for three seasons and when I'm not in the forest I'm a parent, college lecturer and climbing instructor. As a self confessed dromomaniac, I've travelled around the world and believe in living life more adventurously. Oh, and please don't call me Mindy!!
