Please be aware that if your session is between Monday 6th October and Sunday 16th November that local road closures are in place on Horton Road due to roadworks, impacting travel from the A31. Please see details below, plan your journey in advance and allow additional time to travel to us and arrive ready for the start of your session.
Phase 1: Beginning 6th October and lasting approximately 4 weeks
Horton Road will be closed between Ashley Heath roundabout and the junction for Woolsbridge Road. A diversion will be in place providing the only suitable route for HGVs. Smaller vehicles can make use of the local roads to shorten travel. Woolsbridge Road and the junction onto Horton Road remain open during this time and provides an alternative route to reaching Moors Valley from the A31.
Phase 2: Beginning 3rd November and lasting approximately 2 weeks
Horton Road will re-open and access Moors Valley from Ashely Heath roundabout will be restored. Please note that the junctions between Horton Road and Woolsbridge Road, and Horton Road and Lions Lane will both be closed and three-way temporary traffic lights will be in place, likely resulting in delays. No access to Moors Valley will be possible from the A31 via Woolsbridge Road.

Packed full of excitement in the great outdoors, Treetop Adventure Plus is the place for confident youngsters to take their day out higher into the tree tops.
Wobbly crossings will put your skills to the test, as your Tribe journeys through the canopy. Then, it's even higher above the forest floor for your thrilling zip wire ride to that superhero feeling!
Moors Valley Country Park is an award-winning location 10-miles north of Bournemouth. A popular, buzzing site, Moors Valley Country Park welcomes around 750,000 visitors each year and with acres of forest and park jammed pack with things to do, there’s something for everyone.
There are two adventure play areas - one for older children with a zip slide, space net, climbing boulder and a fortress of towers and crossings and a younger children’s area with gentler slides and swings.
Pack up the kids and head for the Play Trail (suitable for pushchairs).
They will love discovering and exploring the wooden play structures such as the Snake Pit and Timber!
On your way around look out for the Tree Top Trail, a five-metre high, 200-metre long wooden walkway up in the trees (sorry, this bit is not suitable for pushchairs).
If you like a leisurely walk, there are many miles of paths and tracks for you to explore the park and forest. There are also five cycling trails so bring the bike or hire some and try one of the family, moderate or challenging routes.
Bring a picnic or grab a bite in the restaurant.
