Meet the Forest of Dean Team
This is my 3rd season with Go Ape! I have 2 dogs who enjoy lots of exercise. They accompany me to work and on days off we're out exploring the Forest of Dean. In the winter season I enjoy carving the slopes wherever there's snow!
Nicholas Wood
Prior to becoming a Go Ape Instructor I worked locally as a food and beverage manager. I‘m passionate about sport and good food. I've even been known to treat my colleagues to a home cooked dinner.
Mark Amott
I'm now in my 2nd season as an Instructor and I'm also a Duty Manager. I enjoy taking part in any sporting activity. In the summer my sport of choice is football which I play to a good standard. In the winter though you're more likely to find me on a ski slope!
Martha Cross
This is my second year at Go Ape! I've always enjoyed being outdoors and recently started climbing on my off duty days with some of the other instructors. When I'm out socialising you'll find me on the dance floor!

I returned to Go Ape last year after a period as an instructor at an outdoor pursuit's venue in Cornwall. I'm a very keen rock climber so on my days off I try to introduce friends and work colleagues to the challenges of local climbing.

I've worked as an outdoor activities instructor for 12 years and joined Go Ape full time as the Deputy Manager at Haldon last year. I'm a keen cook so when I'm not working you'll find me in the kitchen.

This is my first season as an instructor at Go Ape. I'm also studying to be an electrician.
Thomas Richfield
This is my third year working at Go Ape. Instructing here is great fun and I'll be back again next year. Between seasons at Go Ape you'll either find me at Uni or teaching people how to ski!

Abby Thomas
This is my first season working at Go Ape! I love playing sport, and during the winter I play Basketball and Rugby. When the Go Ape season finishes I'll be off working a ski season in Europe.

I'm a qualified builder taking a break from the trade to work part time at Go Ape this season. In my spare time I take to the hills and cliffs with friends to go climbing.

This is my first season with Go Ape! I'm a qualified fitness instructor so that's where I am when not working in the trees.
