The only issue I had with the whole experience was some kind of problem trying to book online. I initially tried to book in the Firefox browser I always use, however when selecting the buxton site, then clicking Book Now, it repeatedly took me straight to stage 3 of the booking ( select vouchers, further items for sale etc ) and had selected a booking for 2 adults for the day I was booking ( 25/8/10 ), and if I clicked back and tried again it would do the same thing, but even worse - it would add another booking to the previous one, giving me 2 bookings - 2 incorrect bookings. Tried closing my browser, tried again, now 3 incorrect bookings. I assume it was some kind of problem with the cookies saved to my browser. Whatever the reason, I had to use Internet Explorer in the end. As well as whatever caused the problem in the first place, I think there is a glaring omission in your website design that there is no option to remove items from your checkout basket. You should always have this option for people, as people WILL make mistakes. All that aside, my 14 year old son and I had an absolutely fantastic time and will definitely be visiting again. The site was great, we both felt surprisingly secure moving around it after our induction. The staff were great also - helpful, welcoming and chatty. Thanks for a great time and we will be back!

There were a few problems with long queues forming at certain parts of the course with waits of at least 20 minutes. Not sure how to resolve the situation and it didn't spoil the overall experience.

My family loved it, but my daughter, 15, had to pull out just before the tarzan leap as my son and my husband wanted to do the leap and she didn't. She was very disappointed but she could not be supervised going round the safer bit to join them afterwards. Perhaps somebody could be on hand at that point to ensure that kids who don't want to do the tarzan leap and want to follow the safer route could do so if their supervising adult is tarzan leaping, the alternative would be a ladder to join the others on the podium immediately after the tarzan leap.

Myself and my eldest daughter (14 yrs) loved it. My yongest daughter (12 yrs) wasn't feeling very well on the day but went through all the safety briefing stuff. I really appreciated that Go Ape offered to refund if you don't want to do it. The staff were great - very knowledgeable and provided us with the confidence that we needed! I liked how the courses were split so that you take a breathe between challenges! Thanks for a great day!

Me and my two kids , 13 and 11 loved the experience . The best bits are the zip wires and the scariest theTarzan swing . It was brilliant to spend quality time with the kids , we all had to communicate with each other and motivate each other through the course . We all came away with a real sense of achievement and we want to try other courses as soon as possible . I was amazed how quickly we all adapted to the heights , I found the 2m platform quite daunting at the start but soon we were all casually standing on the high platforms . An amazing afternoon for us all .

The whole experience was fab.....as a group, the favourite bit was the Tarzan swing, although the children did wonder how come it seemed to be the highest part but thinnest tree..........

Favourite was the Tarzan swing (big one) for the adrenalin rush. Great experience as we were in a family party of ages 21-52 which was really great family bonding. My husband doesn't like heights but seemed to overcome this with the excellent briefing and group momentum. Ben, the instructor at Buxton, did his job brilliantly. Suggestion: could include a few interactive challenges i.e. grabbing tokens from above or hitting targets, perhaps? A great day out and have recommended to a party of 10+ already for an 18th birthday party. Could also dress up i.e. gorillas (safety of course being priority). Would love to go again.

We are two girls (29) from the netherlands. While staying with friends in Buxton we visited Go Ape. We have been High Roping a few times before in Belgium but this was quit a different experience. We never had did a Tarzan jump before and the ziplines were better than great. Our compliments for this amazing experience and a special compliment to Lee, our instructor who did a great job to make averything safe but also with a smile. Thank you very much!!!! Eva and Marike
