Really enjoyed it. I was with my young cousin (11 years) and he loved it. Very relaxed and very enjoyable. I sometimes thought we had to wait a rather long time for others to move on but overall it did give us a rest. I would like to see a few more challenging pieces on the course as I am quite adventurous. Thanks for a great day.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time, despite me being very nervous and terrified of heights. I found the safety instructions and demos very reassuring and our instructor was friendly and helpful, giving me tips and supporting me as he knew of my fears. Our favourite part was the zip wires, least favourite was the wobbly bridges and I never did master the art of a good landing! I can't fault our experience at all, I have conquered my fears and it has given us both a much needed confidence boost...exhilarating and well worth every penny!

It was a fantastic experience, my partner and son and myself all enjoyed it very much. It was very scary at times but when you accepted the fact that you couldnt fall (as long as you listened and followed exactly what they told you) it was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The overall feeling is of a brilliantly exhilerating day. My family love the two go ape courses we have visited, the scenery is stunning and the guys are brilliant, funny and very helpful. Our favourite parts are definately the zip wires as I would think most people would say. The only down side is that although we have only been on two courses they were esentially very very similar in design. I presume there is only so much that you can do with rope and trees but there was a definate feeling this time of same old, same old. Its still great, dont get me wrong, and we will probably be coming again as it is rather addictive but it just takes the edge off the excitement that you feel.

It was good that the instructer let the small groups go first as the larger parties were holding access to the stages up. I noticed that supervision at each stage has greatly improved with a member of staff watching people go through and there for assistance. Seemed to do the course quicker than grizedale and delamere . Parking was a nightmare ...we arrived at peak time and ended up parking on the side of the road outside the centre. The weather stayed with us and my son and I had a great time ..... no complaints. Would love to do the long zipwire in scotland .

Both me and my girlfriend went to goape in whinlatter forest for our first ever goape experience and it was a banana bonanza!!! We originally saw the concept in dalby neAr home. Going on hols to the lakedistrict it was the perfect adventure to a camping holiday. Zip wires were awesome. Wouldbe good to see some form of abseiling and even higher zipwires. Maybe throw some water in somewhere. But overall it was excellent. Staff all very friendly and helpful and good value for money. Will definately be visiting the nearby sites in the near future.

i have really enjoyed all my go ape experiences each of the courses are similar yet different, have been to Rivington, Grisedale, and the latest was Whinlatter, all of which were fantastic, not sure if they could be improved, or if i can pinpoint a favourite bit(s). All i can say is keep up the great work, creating Go Ape sites which are bigger and better than the ones you already have. Lee Snowden

Car parking at Whinlatter Forest is 5 pounds. Inclusive parking or discounted parking would have been nice, as 100 pounds for a family of 4 is already an expensive afternoon out
