It was my hen party and we all had such a good time, even those who were scared of heights!!! Thanku!

My wife only completed the first part of go ape, as she was very afraid of heights. She was informed by one of the staff beforehand that she would be refunded if she only did the first part, and felt encouraged to give it a try. When we enquired about this afterwards - we were told that she had done the first part and therefore would not get a refund. This was a bit of a waste of money for herself. We feel that this part should have been written clearly somewhere.

The course was very quiet, so there was no queuing or grouping. It really felt like we were the only ones on the course, which was much better than when I did the Forest of Dean one in summer. The staff were friendly, but also very safe and efficient, and we very much appreciated the offer to do some sections again at the end if we wanted to. Fantastic balance of safety/independence to make the most of the experience. My 2 friends were new to Go Ape and had an amazing time too. Thank you :)

The staff were friendly and very helpful if you didn't understand anything. This made it a friendly community. Just the whole idea of being high in the tree's does it for me. Also i found there were many areas of the Whinlatter course that were better than the Grisedale course (the other 'go ape' experience i've tried). Try and make it so there isn't as much waiting about at the start of each new section.

great fun and really testing when high up in the trees so a really good day. An expensive day out at £65 for three people, although very good fun not something you could really repeat very often - how about cheaper season tickets for local / repeat customers ?
