The first time I took my childen, I must admit, I was a little aprehensive at some of the tasks. During the second visist (Grizedale) I was surprised at how my confidence was boosted by the second visit. This second visit also provided my daughter with enough confidence to perform the tarzan swing at the end. we can't wait to go back (probably another one) as we thoroughly enjoy the activity.

I came with my friend and our 11 year old daughters for a birthday treat. Not really the outdoors types so I'm not sure quite what possessed us and we were all so nervous. We had an amazing time and loved it all. My daughter thought she was afraid of heights but she conquered that and although at times were all terrified we did it all and were so proud of ourselves. We will all be back again, we thought we might make it a yearly event. The staff were great, the only improvement we could think of would be more zip wires we all loved those the best!!!! Thnks for a brilliant day.

The Jacob's ladder at the end was the best bit!

i thought that go ape was a magnificent adventure, experience and success i will gladly love to go to go ape again it was the greatest day of my life the best parts were the tarzan swing [that was wild]it was freaky and fun and i loved it my other favourite part was the gigantic zip wire that came from number 2 and landed at number 3. It was even more special for me because it was my dad's birthday and our cousins [and other relatives] came too it was really fun and i definetley will be coming again. Thankyou

Even though I was totally petrified, I was so glad I completed the course. If it hadnt been that I was needed for the adult/child ratio, I'm sure I would have chickened out!! I would like to definitely like to try one of the other courses. Initially, I thought it was very pricey, but after experiencing Go Ape, I thought what excellent value for money it turned out to be. Thanks so much.

Excellent course, however the delays getting on each section were too long. Dont mind waiting, however we had to wait up to 30 minutes for each section.

overall very good. Only problem was the signage between the car park and the office (Grizedale Forest), we got lost and were therefore late for our briefing.

Free lockers for personal effects would be good. Should advise people to eat well before setting off - I was weak with hunger when I finished. Also encourage slow movers to step aside - we took over 3.5 hours to get round, stuck behind some nervous kids.

Favourite bit were the long Zip Wire and Tarzan Swing. The drinking water wasn't the best. We all enjoyed it.

We attended the Go Ape site at Grisedale Forest. This I felt was a more challenging and enjoyable experience than the Sherwood Forest Go Ape although both are fun! I think that giving people the chance of deciding whether they actually want to complete the course after two sections, rather than just one is very fair. Piped suitable music would add to the experience. The coffee we bought in the restaurant was superb!
